Mental Health
Training
That Works.
I'm Chris Grant. I help organisations across Scotland and beyond build confident, compassionate cultures around mental health and suicide prevention.
Training and facilitation rooted in real experience

ASIST is the gold standard in suicide intervention training worldwide. Developed and accredited by LivingWorks, it has been training people to provide suicide first aid for over 40 years and is used in more than 30 countries.
I qualified to deliver ASIST in 2024, fulfilling a long-term ambition to help build suicide-safer communities. One of the most meaningful trainings you will ever attend.

Groupwork Training & Learning Materials
I help practitioners, educators and leaders design and deliver sessions that actually land. I also develop bespoke learning materials that are accessible, engaging and grounded in good practice.
Youth & Community Projects
Drawing on 15+ years across youth work, movement, physical theatre and Parkour. I have delivered projects across the UK and internationally, including in Jamaica, Trinidad, Sweden, Hong Kong and the US.
Trainer. Facilitator. Change Maker. Full-time Dad.
I'm a freelance mental health trainer and facilitator based in Scotland. I care about suicide prevention and challenging mental health stigma.
Since 2008, I have used movement, creativity and conversation to support people and communities. My journey started with founding a Parkour coaching business. That led me into youth work, mental health training, and facilitation. Over the years I have delivered projects across the UK and internationally.
I specialise in Scotland's Mental Health First Aid and ASIST. I support organisations to embed mentally healthy cultures, reduce stigma, and build confidence in responding to mental health and suicide.
I work best in rooms filled with curiosity, openness, and a willingness to grow.
